2025 was the 50-year anniversary of the first publication of Peter Schmidt and Brian Eno's Oblique Strategy cards. Northampton Arts Lab marked this anniversary by creating a limited-edition box called Ambagious Tactics: An Oblique Tribute Act—A choir of over 100 versatile enigmas[1]. The set is made up of over 120 different “Ambagious Tactics” each containing a pithy statement, in the mammer of an oblique stratergy card. The cards are specially commissioned contributions from over 120 different people. These inculde writer and magican Alan Moore; artist and musican Judy Nylon; guitarist Robert Fripp, film director Jim Jarmusch; and composer Anna Meredith.[2][1] The cards were edited by writer Alistair Fruish.
