Amadeus Indetzki is a German/British music composer based in Cologne, Germany. He writes music for film and television, and has scored a number of films including NAWI: Dear Future Me (2024), Tierbrücke (2025) and Biking Borders (2021)[1]. He has also composed music for video games such as Lineage 2M, Throne & Liberty and The First Descendant[1]. His music has been used in various advertising campaigns including Battlefield 6, Anno 117, Rainbow Six Siege, Apex Legends and many more[2]. Between projects, Amadeus writes music as a freelance composer for multiple labels such as 2WEI and Hans Zimmer's Bleeding Fingers Music.[2]
Career
editIn 2015, Amadeus Indetzki won the German Rising Stars award for his composing achievements.[3]
In 2020, Amadeus scored the music for the Biking Borders - Eine etwas andere Reise documentary, which premiered on Netflix on 19 February 2021.
In 2024, he co-wrote the music for NAWI: Dear Future Me which has was selected as Kenya's entry for Best International Feature Film at the 97th Academy Awards. NAWI has screened on over 50 international film festivals worldwide and has won 25 awards, including Best Promising Actor for the film's lead actress, Michelle Lemuya Ikeny at the African Movie Academy Award, Best International Film at Raindance and the German Peace Prize "Die Brücke".
Personal life
editBorn to a British mother and German father, Amadeus Indetzki spent most of his childhood in Neukirchen-Vluyn, Germany. He currently lives and works in Cologne, Germany, and is married to Mirjam.
