Ahilya Bamroo is an Indian actress, content creator, and voice actor. She is known for making her Hindi film debut as Reya in Shoojit Sircar's I Want to Talk (2024) and her Telugu film debut in Sing Geetham.[1] [2] Bamroo first gained recognition through short-form digital content on social media before transitioning into mainstream entertainment. Bamroo has also worked as a voice actor and performer in interactive media through the upcoming PlayStation video game Mukti.

editBamroo was raised in Auroville, an international township in Tamil Nadu, India. According to Homegrown, her upbringing encouraged self-directed learning, creativity, and artistic exploration. Telugu cinema
editBamroo made her Telugu film debut with Sing Geetham. According to Indulge Express, she was cast in the project after being noticed through her online content.
To prepare for the role, she learned Telugu and dubbed her own dialogues. She described the experience as both challenging and rewarding, noting that it broadened her understanding of language, performance, and storytelling.

editIn 2025, The Hollywood Reporter India reported that Bamroo had entered the field of interactive entertainment through the upcoming PlayStation video game Mukti, portraying the protagonist and marking her debut in video game performance and voice acting.[5]
