Christopher Stein, better known as AVAION, is a German electronic music producer and DJ. His singles "Pieces" and "Wacuka" received platinum status in Germany, as well as in many other countries.
Career
editStein grew up in southern Germany.[1] He used his stage name for a kindergarten game; later, the name became his nickname.[2] He began playing the piano at the age of six. This was followed by playing the guitar and organ; he composed his first songs with these instruments. He also began singing and rapping.[3] Since 2010, he has been producing, initially in the genres of dubstep and drum and bass, but now primarily in EDM.[4]
In 2017, he performed as Avaion on the main stage at the Open Beatz Festival.[5]
His debut single "Fucked Up" was released in 2018.
The single "Pieces" was released in 2019, but entered the German singles chart on January 28, 2022, and the Swiss singles chart on February 6. A draft of the song was created in 2016.[2] A remix by Lovra and an acoustic version were released in 2020. A version featuring Vize and Leony was released at the end of 2021. An EP featuring all versions of the song was released on February 25, 2022.

It is often easier to prove the notability of an album or artist than an individual song or band member. If the subject is not yet notable, consider improving a relevant existing article instead.
