The ADASI JERNAS-M is a medium-altitude long-endurance (MALE) unmanned aerial vehicle developed by ADASI, a subsidiary of the UAE-based EDGE Group. According to its manufacturer, it is a tactical multi-mission UAV intended for intelligence, surveillance, reconnaissance, and ground-attack roles.[1]
Design
editAccording to EDGE Group, the JERNAS-M is a fixed-wing UAV with a maximum takeoff weight of 1,200 kg, a wingspan of 10 m, and a maximum payload of 280 kg. The company states that it can carry electro-optical, radar, and electronic warfare systems, as well as guided munitions including the RASH MK81 bomb carrying four RASH-3 munitions.[1][2]
EDGE states that the aircraft has an endurance of up to 20 hours in ISR configuration and 12 hours with maximum payload, with a line-of-sight range of 200 km and a maximum speed of 240 km/h.[1][2]
