Comment: Regardless of whether the subject's coverage meets the WP:GNG, the solution to establishing notability is definitely not to prompt AI to generate twenty (!) subsections, many empty sections with generic placeholders, and expect this is appropriate for mainspace. The LLM output, by constantly referring to reporting, coverage, and independence, is creating outputs to appease you and make you think the text is meeting the standard sought for notability, but it isn't. Comment: Relies largely on press-releases; I am not seeing GNG being passed. ᴢxᴄᴠʙɴᴍ (ᴛ) 15:58, 20 August 2025 (UTC)

3D Aim Trainer is an aim trainer designed to help players practise skills for first-person shooter (FPS) and third-person shooter games, including clicking/flicking, tracking and target switching. It is available in a browser and as a Windows application, and has been covered by gaming and technology media as an accessible practice tool.[1][2]
Overview
editHistory
editOrigins and early growth (2019–2020)
editBelgian newspaper De Tijd reported on the platform's early growth in 2019, noting that users could practise skills for more than 30 shooters, including Fortnite and Apex Legends.[3]
Funding and platform expansion (2021)
editAcquisition by SteelSeries (2022)
editIn July 2022, Esports Insider reported that 3D Aim Trainer was acquired by Danish peripherals company SteelSeries. The team joined SteelSeries with continued work on the product.[7]
Integration and activations (2023–2025)
editFollowing the acquisition, 3D Aim Trainer was integrated into the SteelSeries software suite and featured in on‑site activations at esports events. SteelSeries' event recaps highlight fan competitions using 3D Aim Trainer at Intel Extreme Masters Katowice in 2024 and 2025,[8][9] while student esports organisation NSE ran online aim challenges sponsored by SteelSeries in 2024 and 2025.[10][11]

Reception
editCritical reception
editTrade and technology publications have described the software as an accessible way to practise FPS skills, and noted its inclusion in a broader peripherals software ecosystem following the SteelSeries acquisition.[1][2][7] Independent newspaper coverage in Belgium profiled the platform's growth and user adoption.[3][12]
