Dolná Streda (Hungarian: Alsószerdahely) is a village and municipality in the Galanta District of the Trnava Region of western Slovakia.

History
editIn historical records the village was first mentioned in 1283. Before the establishment of independent Czechoslovakia in 1918, it was part of Pozsony County within the Kingdom of Hungary.
Geography
editThe municipality lies at an altitude of 125 metres (410 ft)[2] and covers an area of 13.23 km2 (5.11 sq mi) (2025).[4]
