Distress for Rates Act 1960

The Distress for Rates Act 1960 (8 & 9 Eliz. 2. c. 12) was an act of the Parliament of the United Kingdom that consolidated enactments relating to the recovery of rates in England and Wales.[1]

Subsequent developments

The whole act was repealed by section 117(1) of, and part I of the schedule 14 to, the General Rate Act 1967, which came into force on 1 April 1968.[3]
