Career
editDundee
editOn 7 July 2023, after spending the entirety of his career in his native Mexico, Pineda joined Scottish Premiership club Dundee alongside fellow countryman and friend Antonio Portales.[2] Pineda made his debut for Dundee off the bench in a Scottish League Cup group stage game away to Airdrieonians.[3] Four days later, Pineda made his first start and scored his first goal for the Dark Blues in a home win over Dumbarton.[4] Pineda made his league debut for Dundee on 24 October as a substitute against Ross County.[5] On 22 July 2024, Dundee confirmed that Pineda had left the club by mutual consent, and would return to Mexico.[6]
Venados
editOn 26 July 2024, Pineda joined his former club and Liga de Expansión MX side Venados.[7] He made his first appearance from the bench the same day against Tepatitlán.[8] Pineda scored the first goal of his stint on 10 August in a draw at home to Celaya.[9] On 14 September, Pineda scored a last-minute winner for Venados against his former club Atlético Morelia.[10]
Alebrijes de Oaxaca
editIn July 2025, Pineda joined Liga de Expansión MX club Alebrijes de Oaxaca.[11]
