Denzil Smith (footballer)

Denzil Smith (born 13 October 1999) is a Trinidadian football player who plays as goalkeeper for USL League One club AV Alta FC, and the Trinidad and Tobago national team.

Career

Smith is a youth product of Shiva Boys HC.[1] He began his senior career with the TT Premier Football League clubs W Connection, Club Sando and AC Port of Spain. On 10 January 2025, Smith transferred to the USL League One club AV Alta FC on a 1+1 year contract.[2]

International career

Smith was part of the Trinidad and Tobago U20s for the 2018 CONCACAF U-20 Championship. He was first called up to the Trinidad and Tobago national team in March 2023.[3] He made the final squad for the 2023 CONCACAF Gold Cup.[4] He was again called up to the Trinidad and Tobago national team for the 2025 CONCACAF Gold Cup.[5]
