Bozlu (Persian: بزلو, romanized: Bozlū)[1][a] is a village in Nazluy-ye Jonubi Rural District, in the Central District of Urmia County, West Azerbaijan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 55, in 17 families.[2]

History

Bozlū with Paqabajlūi was inhabited by 30 Church of the East Christian families and did not have a church or a priest in 1862, according to the Russian archimandrite Sophoniah.[3] At this time, it was tended to by the priest Paul of Bālū.[4] It was located in the Anzel district.[3]
