Adoption (Scotland) Act 1978

The Adoption (Scotland) Act 1978 (c. 28) is an act of the Parliament of the United Kingdom that consolidated enactments relating to adoption in Scotland.[1]

Subsequent developments

The whole act was repealed (except Part IV) by section 121(2) of, and schedule 3 to, the Adoption and Children (Scotland) Act 2007, which came into force on 28 September 2009.[d][3]
