Adoption (Scotland) Act 1978

The Adoption (Scotland) Act 1978 (c. 28) is an act of the Parliament of the United Kingdom that consolidated enactments relating to adoption in Scotland.

Subsequent developments

The whole act was repealed (except Part IV) by section 121(2) of, and schedule 3 to, the Adoption and Children (Scotland) Act 2007, which came into force on 28 September 2009.
