2026 King County elections

A general election will be held in King County, Washington, on November 3, 2026, to elect various county-level positions. Primary elections will be held on August 4, 2026, for races in which more than two candidates filed to run.[1]

Assessor

The incumbent assessor John Wilson declined to run for re-election. Wilson faced multiple calls to resign from the King County Council and other elected officials in King County over allegations of repeatedly stalking his ex-wife and violating a restraining order she had against him.[2]
