Previous season
editThe Minutewomen finished the 2024–25 season 17–15, 11–7 in A-10 play, to finish in a three-way tie for fifth place.[1] They were defeated by Saint Louis in the quarterfinals of the A-10 tournament.[2] They received an at-large bid to the WNIT,[3] where they would defeat Stonehill in the first round,[4] before falling to eventual tournament champions Buffalo in the second round.[5] This was UMass' last season as members of the Atlantic 10 Conference, as they moved to the Mid-American Conference, starting in the 2025–26 season.[6]
