editNumber of players/member association quota
editThis event's total limit of eligibility players is 416 players, the following charts are the rules and the distribution.[1] This is the first time that women's singles event quota is up to 64, same as men's singles.[2]

- Players who ranked from 1 to 8, whose association could nominate 4 players.
- Players who ranked from 9 to 24, whose association could nominate 3 players.
- Players who ranked from 25 to 150, whose association could nominate 2 players.
Women's singles

- Players who ranked from 1 to 8, whose association could nominate 4 players.
- Players who ranked from 9 to 24, whose association could nominate 3 players.
