1916 Iowa Hawkeyes football team

The 1916 Iowa Hawkeyes football team was an American football team that represented the University of Iowa as a member of the Western Conference during the 1916 college football season. In their first year under head coach Howard Jones, the Hawkeyes compiled a 4–3 record (1–2 in conference games), finished in seventh place in the Western Conference, and were outscored by a total of 156 to 121.[1]
