- Comment: can you clarify why the living person is considered less notable? ―Howard • 🌽33 13:03, 6 March 2026 (UTC)
- Sure, going through the living person's sources, I saw at best press release type material, whereas for his older namesake, there are e.g. lots of articles in the two leading Swedish daily newspapers, including obituaries and more on their front pages in the 1900s if you search the archive sections on those newspapers. There are also lots of book mentions, although they would take more time to surface. Hope this clarifies! /Urbourbo (talk) 13:29, 6 March 2026 (UTC)
- If the best sourcing for the living person's article is press releases then you may wish to consider nominating it for deletion. BLPs are subject to stricter sourcing standards and press releases would not cut it. ―Howard • 🌽33 13:34, 6 March 2026 (UTC)
- Thanks, I'd be happy to leave that question to other editors, but would appreciate a move for now. /Urbourbo (talk) 13:35, 6 March 2026 (UTC)

- Btw, a search for his name on Google Books generates 100+ results, and I don't think a single one of them relates to the living person. /Urbourbo (talk) 13:31, 6 March 2026 (UTC)

- Move to Tor Bonnier (publisher). Tor Bonnier is currently at WP:AFD; let's wait until that discussion concludes before looking at whether there is a primary topic. 162 etc. (talk) 17:34, 6 March 2026 (UTC)

- Support given this article is at AFD. Crouch, Swale (talk) 18:21, 6 March 2026 (UTC)
Wait!.Both of these articles were created just today, within hours of each other and at least one of them is already nominated for deletion. If they both survive, Tor Bonnier should be a dab page until we can tell if there even is a primary topic, and both should then be moved to standard disambiguators rather than life dates. Station1 (talk) 20:03, 6 March 2026 (UTC)- I am not sure if I am answering in the right spot now. But there are more than one Tor Bonnier in the Bonnier Family and if it is better in line with wikipedia rules it should be fine moving it to Tor Bonnier (born 1966). However, I am not sure how to do this. Can someone help me? Also, I was updating the Family Bonnier page first since I noticed that Tor Bonnier was missing and he is a rewarded designer and also recognised by the academics for his contribution to research. In the list of people on the Bonnier Family wikipedia page there is a mix of people who already passed away and people who are still living. Let me know if I can explain anything else! Thanks so much! Saadstockholm (talk) 07:41, 8 March 2026 (UTC)
- This one has 258 views on the Swedish Wikipedia compared with only 45[] for the 1966 one so clearly the 1966 one isn't primary on the Svwiki and I see no reason why it would be different here but views may be so low here that a DAB makes sense anyway. Crouch, Swale (talk) 19:56, 8 March 2026 (UTC)
- Update: Tor Bonnier has now been closed as "keep" at WP:AfD. Pageviews for the past 20 days, such as they are, do not show a clear WP:primary topic but in any case it's not the first one (1883-1976). Therefore move the first to Tor Bonnier (publisher) as suggested by 162 etc. above, and move the second to Tor Bonnier (designer) as suggested by Necrothesp below. Make Tor Bonnier a dab page. - Support 1st, oppose 2nd but move to Tor Bonnier (designer) if it's not deleted. We don't disambiguate by dates. -- Necrothesp (talk) 16:52, 11 March 2026 (UTC)
- Relisting comment: Consensus to move Tor Bonnier to Tor Bonnier (designer), but no consensus yet on whether Tor Bonnier (1883-1976) is the primary topic. BilledMammal (talk) 03:17, 4 April 2026 (UTC)
- Thanks, again, I'm thinking this issue merits an obvious, non-controversial conclusion. The designer has no substantial coverage in any mainstream media, whereas the publisher is covered by the two leading national daily newspapers (incl page 1 obituaries in both), has an article in the national encyclopedia, and has some 100 printed book mentions. Therefore my suggestion to move Tor Bonnier (1883-1976) -> Tor Bonnier. Thanks, /Urbourbo (talk) 14:36, 4 April 2026 (UTC)
