French
editIn the infobox his nationality is "French, Spanish". We know he was born in Spain to a Spanish family and he is often described as "French", having worked there for many years. But nationality refers to his legal status and I doubt he has acquired French citizenship. There's a citation to famille chrétienne now in place, but I can't access all of it. Can someone can access it and add the field "quote=" to the citation with the text that confirms his French citizenship? Or confirm that he's just casually described as French and we shouldn't be saying he's a French citizen? Thanks. Rutsq (talk) 22:04, 3 October 2023 (UTC)

François-Xavier Bustillo → François Bustillo – The lede and many cited sources indicate that this is both the common and preferred name of this cardinal. The middle name is superfluous in the title. Killuminator (talk) 21:00, 6 May 2025 (UTC)
- Agree Rutsq (talk) 21:03, 6 May 2025 (UTC)
- Support per nomination, per Rutsq and per WP:COMMONNAME. Under section header "Notes", note a. states, "He has used this shortened form of his name for all his published books." —Roman Spinner (talk • contribs) 21:34, 6 May 2025 (UTC)
Unnecessary long lede
editI understand that that explaining his common name being a simplified version of his "full name" was necessary, but does it really need to be in the lede? It is written super awkwardly, and reeks of an aftermath of an editor strife. I don't know how else to include that information though without it being kind of tacked on. - I moved the relevant detail to Notes and put his "common name" in the usual location. Rutsq (talk) 18:06, 25 February 2026 (UTC)
- That works too, thank you. BaBaBa91 (talk) 21:09, 25 February 2026 (UTC)
