Was he ever a national of Czechslovakia. All the article says is he was born in 1903 in what was Austria-Hungary. He died in 1982 in New York. He was Slovak, but other than the Nazi client state from 1939-1945 there was no Slovak state during his lifetime. It is not clear what country he was a national of.
