Sambou Sissoko (born 27 April 1999) is a French professional footballer who plays as a right-back for Ligue 3 club Valenciennes.

Personal life
editSissoko was born in Clamart, France and has French nationality.[2] He is of Malian descent.[3]
Club career
editSissoko made his professional debut with Tours in a 1–0 Ligue 2 loss to Stade de Reims on 11 August 2017.[4]
In January 2019, he signed a four-year contract with Reims.[5] He was loaned to Quevilly-Rouen for the 2020–21 season on 16 October 2020.[6]
On 30 June 2022, Sissoko moved to Seraing in Belgium on a two-year deal.[7] On 20 December 2023, Sissoko and Seraing agreed to terminate the contract.[8]
On 14 February 2024, Sissoko signed with Vorskla Poltava in Ukraine, for an undisclosed term.[9]
On 30 August 2024, Sissoko moved to Valenciennes.[10]
On 11 February 2026, Azerbaijan Premier League club Qabala annoucned the loan signing of Sissoko from Valenciennes, until the end of the season.[11] On 2 June 2026, Qabala announced that Sissoko had returned to Valenciennes after his loan deal had expired.[12]
International career
editSissoko is a youth international for France at the U19 level.[13]
