Elijah Roche (born January 28, 2008) is a Canadian professional soccer player who plays as a centre-back for MLS Next Pro club Toronto FC II. He is set to join Austrian Bundesliga club SK Sturm Graz in July 2026, where he will initially play for the reserve team, SK Sturm Graz II.[2]

Club career
editA youth product of the academy of Ottawa TFC since the age of 4, Roche joined the Toronto FC Academy on August 11, 2023, where he finished his development.[3] He made his senior and professional debut with Toronto FC II as a substitute in a 2–1 MLS Next Pro loss to Philadelphia Union II on 12 September 2025.[4]
On April 9, 2026, Austrian Bundesliga club SK Sturm Graz announced that Roche would join from Toronto FC in the summer of 2026 and would initially play for its reserve team, SK Sturm Graz II.[5]
International career
editRoche was born in Canada to a Haitian father and Dominica-born mother.[1] He was called up to the Canada U17s for the 2025 FIFA U-17 World Cup.[6]
Personal life
editRoche is the nephew of the Canadian soccer player Jamar Dixon.[1]
