How to improve a draft
You can also browse Wikipedia:Featured articles and Wikipedia:Good articles to find examples of Wikipedia's best writing on topics similar to your proposed article. Improving your odds of a speedy review To improve your odds of a faster review, tag your draft with relevant WikiProject tags using the button below. This will let reviewers know a new draft has been submitted in their area of interest. For instance, if you wrote about a female astronomer, you would want to add the Biography, Astronomy, and Women scientists tags. Editor resources

Comment: Well done on creating the draft, and it may potentially meet the relevant requirements (including WP:GNG, WP:ANYBIO, WP:MUSICBIO) but presently it is not clear that it does. As you may know, Wikipedia's basic requirement for entry is that the subject is notable. Essentially subjects are presumed notable if they have received significant coverage in multiple published secondary sources that are reliable, intellectually independent of each other, and independent of the subject. To properly create such a draft page, please see the articles ‘Your First Article’, ‘Referencing for Beginners’ and ‘Easier Referencing for Beginners’. In short, "notability" requires reliable sources about the subject, rather than by the subject. The image used likely breaches copyright, which Wikipedia takes seriously, so should be removed unless clear evidence of its legal use is provided. If it is indeed the draft's author's "Own work" then the author clearly knows the subject and has a conflict of interest that must be declared (see details below). It seems highly unlikely that it is /they are the draft's author's "Own work", unless the author is also a professional photographer, but no such evidence has been provided. Please note that many of the references would appear to be from sources that are NOT considered reliable for establishing notability and should be removed (including blogs, company websites, press releases, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, Spotify etc). Additionally, the draft tends to read too much like a promotional CV or advertorial, which Wikipedia is not; and contains prose that is not of a standard appropriate for an encyclopaedia (also see WP:PEACOCK). Also, if you have any connection to the subject, including being paid, which seems likely given your account name "Lsdmgmt", you have a conflict of interest that you must declare on your Talk page (to see instructions on how to do this please click the link). In instances of a conflict of interest, the review of the page needs to be handled with care, mindful of the higher bar set by pages produced in circumstances of such a conflict. Such pages typically may read too much like a promotional CV or advertorial, which Wikipedia is not; and/or contain prose that is not of a standard appropriate for an encyclopaedia (also see WP:PEACOCK and WP:NPV). Please familiarise yourself with these pages before amending the draft. If you feel you can meet these requirements, then please make the necessary amendments before resubmitting the page. It would help our volunteer reviewers by identifying, on the draft's talk page, the WP:THREE best sources that establish notability of the subject. It would also be helpful if you could please identify with specificity, exactly which criteria you believe the page meets (eg "I think the page now meets WP:MUSICBIO criteria #3, because XXXXX"). Once you have implemented these suggestions, you may also wish to leave a note for me on my talk page, including the name of the draft page, and I would be happy to reassess. Cassidy Howell (born September 17, 1987), known professionally as Sahtyre, is an American rapper, visual artist, and creative technologist based in Los Angeles, California. Known for his experimental style and emotionally charged performances, he first rose to prominence through the Project Blowed collective and gained wider attention via battle rap appearances alongside Dumbfoundead in Jumpoff’s World Rap Championships.[1] His breakout mixtape The Buddha (2012) and later releases such as LSD (Saga) (2015) and The Roaring (2020) earned critical attention; The Roaring also prompted a guest editorial in REVOLT contextualizing the album’s themes.[2] Sahtyre has collaborated with artists such as Danny Brown,[3] MURS,[4] and Kimbra,[5] and has been featured by outlets including XXL,[6] Complex,[7] Hypebeast,[8] and The FADER.[9]
Early life
editCassidy Howell was born in Bellflower, California, and raised in the greater Los Angeles area, including Inglewood, Hawthorne, Rialto, and San Bernardino.[10] He attended Eisenhower High School in Rialto and later Millikan High School in Long Beach. He began writing poetry in childhood and started rapping in his early teens, eventually finding a home at the Project Blowed open-mic in Leimert Park.
Career
editSahtyre emerged from the Los Angeles underground hip-hop scene as part of Project Blowed and gained early recognition through Jumpoff’s World Rap Championships, where he competed alongside Dumbfoundead on the West Coast team.[1][10] His mixtape The Buddha (2012) marked a transition from battle circuits to long-form releases, pairing psychedelic imagery with dense lyricism.[11]
From 2013 to 2020, Sahtyre released a run of projects including LSD (Prelude) (2013),[9] Cassidy Howell (2017), The Gorgeous Darkness (2018), and The Roaring (2020).[2] His releases have appeared via labels and imprints such as Alpha Pup,[12] Below System Records,[13] and EMPIRE, among others. He has also been profiled by G Pen, which commissioned a mural in his honor in Los Angeles painted by Dame (MSK/Seventh Letter).[14]
Sahtyre has toured nationally and internationally, supporting acts including 2Mex,[15] Bad Rabbits,[16] Reverie, Dumbfoundead, and Open Mike Eagle. Festival appearances include Hiero Day,[17] as well as club events documented across Los Angeles.[18] He appeared on NBC’s Last Call with Carson Daly in 2018.[19] Additional media features include Okayplayer’s coverage of “Expertise” with Danny Brown.[20] In 2022, Sahtyre issued the multimedia audio-visual work “Still High” on web3 music platform Catalog.[21]
