Dragoljub Urošević-Podrinac (Serbian Cyrillic: Драгољуб Урошевић-Подринац; c. 1870 - after 1913), also known as Voivode of Novi Pazar (Vojvoda novopazarski), was a Serbian Chetnik Vojvoda who fought in the Struggle for Macedonia and the First and Second Balkan War.[1]
Dragoljub Urošević came from a priestly family of Novi Pazar. He participated in the first Ilinden–Preobrazhenie Uprising with many other Serbian and Bulgarian volunteers. He also participated in Goš. Polje, Paš. Česma, battle near Đurđevi stupovi, the First and the Second Balkan War.
Disenchanted with the outcome of the Ilinden–Preobrazhenie Uprising, Urošević left IMRO and joined the Serbian Chetnik Organization.[2]He participated in the battle with Bulgarian and Serbian colleagues Dimitar Chupovski, Krsto Misirkov, Stefan Dimitrov and Trenko Rujanović at the village of Orešje in April 1905 when the Serbian bands won the battle at Oreškim livadama against the IMRO. Also, he participated in the battle at Kurtov kamen (1907). Later, after the Young Turk Revolution, Urošević fought in the Balkan Wars.
