Alexander Rickard Chadchai Thongla-Iad Warneryd (Thai: อเล็กซานเดอร์ วาร์เนริด; born 21 August 2005) is a Swedish professional footballer who plays as a defender or winger for Tromsø IL.

Early life
editClub career
editAs a youth player, Warneryd joined the youth academy of Swedish side Rydboholms SK. Following his stint there, he joined the youth academy of Swedish side IF Elfsborg. Subsequently, he joined the youth academy of Swedish side Norrby IF in 2021 and was promoted to the club's senior team in 2023, where he made twenty-three league appearances and scored one goal.
Ahead of the 2024 season, he signed for Swedish side Västerås SK Fotboll, where he made forty league appearances and scored three goals and suffered relegation from the top flight to the second tier. During the summer of 2025, he signed for Norwegian side Tromsø IL.[1] Thai newspaper Phuket Gazette wrote in 2026 that he "became a key player for Tromsø" while playing for the club.[2]
International career
editWarneryd is a Sweden youth international. On 7 September 2024, he debuted for the Sweden under-20 national team during a 0–1 away friendly loss to the Denmark under-20 national team.
