Message from the Wikimedia Foundation's lawyers
editHi all! I'm one of the lawyers working for the Wikimedia Foundation, and am handling a delicious but sticky complaint about a few food articles on Wikipedia. It concerns the heavy rewriting of the history of the Mozartkugel, an Austrian delicacy dating back to the late 19th century. Notably, it concerns editing made by two accounts: Special:Contributions/Zuckergut , Special:Contributions/JH1880 (and on another wiki, https://guc.toolforge.org/?by=date&user=Salzburg+media). Users over on Czech, French, German and Italian-language Wikipedia already found several of those accounts' edits to be poorly sourced, and perhaps original research, and reverted those. We thought we should therefore also alert the English-language community to the complaint's existence, in case this also prompted a quick quality check of those contributions, under your own policies? Kurdish pastry
editHi. I found this page which I am not sure if it should exist. From using online translations, Kurdish pastries are not an actual product, but a grouping of baked goods made with Kurdish pastry. In fact one of the refs says that the first pastry sold was Kurdish Borek. Is there any Turkish or Kurdish speakers? Should this page still exist? Davidstewartharvey (talk) 20:38, 27 May 2026 (UTC)

Pastry
editThere is a discussion on the Pastry page about what the article should be on Wikipedia. Davidstewartharvey (talk) 05:59, 29 May 2026 (UTC)
Please address the issues tagged, by adding recent reliable sources. Thanks in advance. Bearian (talk) 04:41, 1 June 2026 (UTC)
- I did as much work as I could to show notability, but several potential sources are behind paywalls. Please help if you can. Bearian (talk) 22:43, 5 June 2026 (UTC)
I need help here. The prior version of this article was deleted but most likely involved a different person. I don't see any evidence of notability. What do you think? Bearian (talk) 22:29, 5 June 2026 (UTC)
One of your project's articles has been selected for improvement!
