Welcome and introduction to contentious topics

edit

Hi ~2026-36483-68! I noticed your contributions and wanted to welcome you to the Wikipedia community. I hope you like it here and decide to stay.

I've noticed that you've expressed an interest in the Balkans or Eastern Europe. Unfortunately, due to a history of conflict and disruptive editing, it has been designated a contentious topic and is subject to some strict rules. This designation is broadly construed, so if you have to ask whether a particular edit is covered, you should assume it is.

Any edits you make contrary to the contentious topic procedures are likely to be reverted, and repeated violations can lead to your being blocked from editing. If you have any questions about the contentious topic procedure, you can ask for help!

As you get started, you may find this short tutorial helpful:

Alternatively, the contributing to Wikipedia page covers the same topics.

If you have any questions, we have a friendly space where experienced editors can help you:

Happy editing!

I will note in addition to the above standard notice that comments like this are considered WP:CANVASSing, which is not allowed on Wikipedia. Further, attempting to coordinate with other editors off of Wikipedia, as also evidenced in that discussion, is considered meatpuppetry, which is even more prohibited. Attempting to circumvent these rules will result in blocks and/or edit restrictions for you and possibly also the people that you attempt to contact. Finally, I will note that there doesn't appear to be any actual evidence of LLM use by FranéRogoz; the comment you identified as LLM is written in a tone and style that is very atypical for LLMs, and does not appear to have any hallmarks of LLM use. Accusations of LLM use are serious, and should not be made without a preponderance of evidence. signed, Rosguill talk 18:22, 30 June 2026 (UTC)Reply
