Your submission at Articles for creation: Wonderland Engine (June 21)
edit
This draft's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article. In summary, the draft needs multiple published sources that are:
The comment the reviewer left was:
- in-depth (not just passing mentions about the subject)
- reliable
- secondary
- independent of the subject
Needs independent sources about the engine itself, not games based on it.
Please check the submission for any additional comments left by the reviewer. You are encouraged to edit the submission to address the issues raised and resubmit after they have been resolved.
- If you would like to continue working on the submission, go to Draft:Wonderland Engine and click on the "Edit" tab at the top of the window.
- If you do not edit your draft in the next 6 months, it will be considered abandoned and may be deleted.
- If you need any assistance, or have experienced any untoward behavior associated with this submission, you can ask for help at the Articles for creation help desk, on the reviewer's talk page or use Wikipedia's real-time chat help from experienced editors.
- Hi, the article references many secondary independent reliable sources that are not about a game, but the engine itself:
- - Venture Beat / Games Beat
- - The Khronos Group
- - VRFocus
- - Immersive Wire
- - ARPost
- In addition to the above that meet the criteria outlined, there are also first party references to the Wonderland Engine website, and also the secondary independent reliable sources for the award won by the game using Wonderland Engine.
- Please reconsider your review. Squareys (talk) 15:25, 21 June 2025 (UTC)
- For reference, I discussed this on the live chat, the important notes were:
- "The key thing about Wikipedia: we don't care about what the subject has to say about themselves (press releases, interviews, etc). We care about what other people have to say about the subject."
- And "not based off interviews or press releases".
- To my knowledge such sources currently do not exist and I'll pick up the article later down the line, once they do. Squareys (talk) 15:59, 27 June 2025 (UTC)
