Using the correct date format

Hi. I might have raised this topic with you before, but please observe the date format used on an article and adapt the dates used in the content you're adding to that used on the page. For example, you recently edited Astronaut in the Ocean here and added the Singaporean peak, but you used mdy date format (March 20, 2021) instead of the dmy date format (20 March 2021) that is used on the page. It's very helpful to use the correct date format and to make the use of dates in date parameters and in the prose of the page consistent. Thanks. Ss112 18:30, 19 March 2021 (UTC)

@Ss112: My bad, I have the tendency to just copy-paste the template when updating positions across articles. I'll make sure to take note of them in the future. Thank you so much for informing me about this. Nahnah4 (talk | contribs) 18:35, 19 March 2021 (UTC)

Marking edits as minor

Hi. Just letting you know, edits like these should not be marked as minor. If it was a mistake, that's fine, as it doesn't seem to be a common thing with your edits. In any case, see Help:Minor edit. Thanks. Ss112 16:47, 31 March 2021 (UTC)

@Ss112: Thanks for letting me know. Cheers, Nahnah4 (talk | contribs) 18:17, 31 March 2021 (UTC)

Inappropriate merge close

Hey! I wanted to let you know that your merge closing at Talk:Love Story (Taylor Swift song) was inappropriate, and should not have been done. Per WP:MERGECLOSE, any user may close the discussion and move forward with the merger if enough time (normally one week or more) has elapsed and there has been no discussion or if there is unanimous consent to merge. There was enough time given, but there were both support and oppose !votes, and unanimous consent to merge was not given, so that paragraph does not apply here. In more unclear, controversial cases, the determination that a consensus to merge has been achieved should be made by an editor who is neutral and not directly involved in the merger proposal or the discussion, which is what should have happened here. You added a support !vote, and therefore are involved and have expressed that you are not neutral, which means you are not fit to close the discussion. Please self-revert and keep MERGECLOSE in mind when you close merge discussions in the future. Thanks! D🐶ggy54321 (let's chat!) 19:04, 13 April 2021 (UTC)

@Doggy54321: Hey Doggy! Per WP:ANC, it is also stated that Many discussions result in a reasonably clear consensus, so if the consensus is clear, any editor—even one involved in the discussion—may close the discussion. Even if it wasn't a unanimous consensus, there was still a clear consensus. The amount of people who supported the merger was more than double of those who opposed (12 to 5, if you include the user who started the discussion). Haha, whenever I think I have a strong case, there's always another policy that I wasn't aware of 😂. I now see why you would have closed it if you had read ANC. I don't know all that much about mergers, so when I saw that an involved editor had closed the merger (which is not allowed in spaces where I usually go to, such as AfD and RM), I went to WP:MERGE to double check that was okay. Thanks for the clarification! D🐶ggy54321 (let's chat!) 13:51, 14 April 2021 (UTC)

Taylor Swift "Midnights" cover

Hello. I saw that you replaced my file for the album cover of Taylor Swift's new album Midnights. I'm not sure if the process for deletion of files means I have to wait the full week for it to be deleted, but if you are able to then I am more than happy for you to delete "Taylor Swift Midnights Original Cover.jpeg" as it is no longer needed on Wikipedia due to your file.

Thank you :) XxLuckyCxX (talk) 04:26, 29 August 2022 (UTC)

@XxLuckyCxX: Yeah, go ahead and delete it, no probs. Do take note that you should refrain from uploading large album covers on here though, it's been standard practice for as long as I can remember (also because of the non-free content criteria). Thank you! Nahnah4 (talk | contribs) 04:28, 29 August 2022 (UTC)
