Happy First Edit Day!
edit| Hey, Sock. I'd like to wish you a wonderful First Edit Day on behalf of the Wikipedia Birthday Committee! Have a great day! DaniloDaysOfOurLives (talk) 04:48, 6 March 2026 (UTC) |
Jane Macdonald - Living the Dream
editHey buddy,
In case you would like to add credits.
Thanks so much! KARANSUTTA (talk) 17:38, 21 March 2026 (UTC)
- Not sure how I missed this, just added them! Sock (
tocktalk) 13:37, 8 April 2026 (UTC)- Hey buddy! Hope you are doing well. Would you like to add credits to Girli's new album, It's Just my opinion. KARANSUTTA (talk) 18:44, 16 May 2026 (UTC)
"Credits adapted from"
editCredits adapted from [position]
is actually, gramatically wrong. Please add "were" between "Credits" and "adapted", or remove full stop next to "[position]" (as the sentence is not a full sentence). Camilasdandelions (✉️) 02:15, 8 April 2026 (UTC)
- To add on, "Credits are adapted" works too, I use that. RedShellMomentum 02:37, 8 April 2026 (UTC)
- Massive facepalm on that one. I use a template when I add personnel and wrote that verbiage years ago. No idea how it didn't clock to me that it was an incomplete sentence and I needed to do one or the other. Thank you for the heads up! However, I think I'm gonna go with RedShellMomentum's verbiage, as articles are written in present tense unless we're covering things that specifically happened in the past, and the credits are adapted. Starting a taskforce
editHello! I saw your contributions on the version history for Civilization VII. I am hoping to start a task force about the references to real life in civ 6. To see more, visit the talk page of WikiProject VG, although it hasn’t been that helpful. For a list of things that are in the games, see here. You would be the last person before we try to start.
Post scriptum: I would not want that cute adorable little face to frown. Wikipedian12512 (talk) 02:33, 10 April 2026 (UTC)
- Hey there! I love the initiative, but honestly my contributions to anything historical largely fall into the WikiGnome category. I'll clean up some formatting or add/fix a reference here and there, but my focus stays pretty firmly with media and art since that's where I'm the most knowledgeable and confident in my contributions. I wish you the best of luck though!
- Also, I think you're the first person to EVER address Titus to the point that I forgot I'd even done that. Added it almost 12 years ago I'm still here! Sock (
tocktalk) 14:03, 10 April 2026 (UTC)- Okay! Also, how do I do something like that? (Add a message into a talk page or a comment if someone tries to edit my user page) Wikipedian12512 (talk) 19:48, 10 April 2026 (UTC)
You are invited to participate in the Destubathon of the Americas, a contest/editathon which will run from May 1 to May 31. The goal is to destub as many of our 475,000+ stubs for the Americas (from Alaska down to Chile) as possible. A good chance to have fun in expanding many of our old stale stubs and win up to £2000 ($2680) in Amazon vouchers for expanding stub articles. Sign up in the Contestants/participants section on the contest page if interested. Even if not interested in prizes you are still warmly welcome to participate in it as an editathon! Hopefully we can achieve something significant in the month of May together! ♦ Dr. Blofeld 17:34, 15 April 2026 (UTC)
