Happy New Year!
Hello Bri:

Did you know ... that back in 1885, Wikipedia editors wrote Good Articles with axes, hammers and chisels?

Thank you for your contributions to this encyclopedia using 21st century technology. I hope you don't get any unnecessary blisters.

Crossword

There's a mistake in the crossword, I think. If 9D is "deleted", it leaves 9A as "ene", rather than the correct answer "end". I'm not sure what happened, but you may want to look into it. - SchroCat (talk) 17:35, 17 February 2026 (UTC)Reply

If I'm reading the history right, that clue was added while I was on vacation. Waiting to see what the E-in-C wants to do about it. ☆ Bri (talk) 18:44, 17 February 2026 (UTC)Reply

Re your edit summary

Re this edit summary of yours: titles in Wiktionary are case-sensitive on the first letter because, for example, wikt:polish is different from wikt:Polish. You probably noticed the auto-redirect feature to compensate for this but it's a bit annoying. If you really want to read about the history of capitalisation in the English Wiktionary, see wikt:Wiktionary:Capitalization transition from 2005. Graham87 (talk) 03:29, 10 March 2026 (UTC)Reply

new article on hemp drinks

Hi Bri! I'm in the Cannabis WikiProject with you. I just made a new article on Hemp drinks. Wanted to let you know! Is there some way to list this in our WikiProject?

Hemp drink Hannahthom7 (talk) 19:38, 23 April 2026 (UTC)Reply

Sure, just add {{420 Collaboration talk}} to the talkpage, with parameter |years=2026, and insert a link yo the article at the "created" list at WP:420. Actually you can do just one of those two things and someone else will probably do the other. ☆ Bri (talk) 20:04, 23 April 2026 (UTC)Reply

Hi Bri, I wanted to ask for your opinion regarding a repeated issue involving article creation from draft content.

It appears that articles such as Miss Earth 2026, Mister Supranational 2026, and Miss Eco International 2026 were created by copying and pasting content from existing draft pages into mainspace before the drafts were fully developed. (Draft ME 2026, Draft Mr.S 2026, and MEI 2026).

Since this seems to be happening repeatedly, I am concerned about the draft process and proper attribution/history preservation. Could you please take a look or advise on the best course of action?

Thank you. RaSriAiem (talk) 15:12, 17 May 2026 (UTC)Reply

@RaSriAiem: I'd advise asking an administrator to check if it really was recreated from a deleted version. I can't do that as I am not an administrator and can't see deleted articles. If they say it was, you have to options. If deletion was by consensus, you can alert any administrator, especially the one who deleted the article. You could also mark it WP:G4 (use the {{db-g4}} template), and wait for an administrator to find it. If it was re-created but has new content or you decide it should not be deleted, or if it was draftified then cut-paste moved to article space, you can just mark it for WP:History merge following the instructions. This last option is the one that preserves page history and authorship attribution. ☆ Bri (talk) 17:02, 17 May 2026 (UTC)Reply

Your draft article, Draft:Sonnie Johnson

Hello, Bri. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or draft page you started, "Sonnie Johnson".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material, the draft has been deleted. When you plan on working on it further and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Thank you for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. Liz Read! Talk! 02:33, 22 May 2026 (UTC)Reply
