Early life

Sarour was born and raised in The Hague, Netherlands. He began training in martial arts at the age of six, initially practicing judo, before transitioning to kickboxing during his teenage years.

He started his amateur kickboxing career in 2011, predominantly competing in the regional circuit in the Netherlands before turning professional.

Sarour gained international exposure through appearances in Absolute Championship Akhmat (ACB) Kickboxing between 2016 and 2018, competing in Europe, Asia, and the United States.[3] During this period, he recorded wins over opponents including Youssef El Haji, Josh Aragon and Rustam Avilov.[4][5]

Concurrently, Sarour competed in Enfusion, appearing in contender tournaments and main-card events in the Netherlands and Belgium. In 2017, he reached the final of an Enfusion −67 kg contender tournament.[6]

Mixed martial arts

edit

By the early 2020s, Sarour transitioned into mixed martial arts (MMA), drawing primarily on a striking-focused background developed through kickboxing and Muay Thai. In addition to competing, he has served in coaching and cornering roles.
