editPests and diseases
editThe species and its cultivars are highly resistant, but not immune, to Dutch elm disease, and unaffected by the elm leaf beetle Xanthogaleruca luteola.[3]
Etymology
edit'Yatsubusa' is the Japanese word for 'dwarf'.
