Discussion time
editHowdy hello folks. I have just full protected this page for four days, since y'all have just been reverting each other without actually discussing the issue. Take the next four days to talk about the issues you're having. If you can't come to a conclusion on the issue, please ask for dispute resoloution. The topic of discussion seems to be the flag incident, and why it should or should not be included. CaptainEek Edits Ho Cap'n!⚓ 16:08, 30 May 2020 (UTC)
- Coming at this late, but as someone who edits many Scottish politicians' articles, I hope we can all work together to create a good, neutral article regardless of our politics or sectarian biases. Alex (Talk) 17:02, 3 June 2020 (UTC)

Conpletely remove: "As a councillor, he served his time holding more surgeries than any other councillor as well as being extremely active on social media and attending as many meetings, hearings and committees as he could. He has helped a great many people in his community and is well thought of by the majority of his community. Bonnar was well liked by many, across the chamber, was outspoken, vocal and wasn't afraid to talk about any subject which arose."
This is entirely fabricated, there is no citation and local people are known to think very badly of him. Tulipsanddaisies (talk) 23:17, 2 June 2020 (UTC)
- Tulipsanddaisies Agreed. Not expressing an opinion on Bonnar himself (I edit many Scottish politicians' articles) but it is unsourced so should be deleted. Alex (Talk) 16:59, 3 June 2020 (UTC)
