Go of Balhae → Ko of Balhae – Because of WP:COMMONNAME, and secondarily because of WP:KOREANNAME. Ngrams difficult to prove WP:COMMONNAME due to overlap. My proposed target is McCune–Reischauer; the reason for this is because significant majority of Korean history books use this romanization system. Proof of this: WP:ROMANKO#Romanizations used in books. I've looked through several major books in this list and have verified they use "Ko". Note that modern pop culture mentions of TV show characters based on him should be excluded; we're purely interested in RS discussions of the historical figure. grapesurgeon (seefooddiet) (talk) 22:02, 22 August 2025 (UTC) — Relisting. - Comment - What's the point of moving to Ko of Balhae if the Balhae article might potentially be moved following the results of a requested move? (See Talk:Balhae#Requested move 22 August 2025) It's probably best to wait on the results of that discussion, as we might need to rename this article to Ko of Parhae instead. ⁂CountHacker (talk) 08:17, 25 August 2025 (UTC)
