Incorrect Airlines and Destinations Entries

I've observed lately that users behind some IP addresses (i.e. 111.95.123.207 and 118.136.115.166) are consistently making edits to this page to indicate that PNG Air, Airlines PNG and Air PNG operate flights into WAJJ. I would like to point out that despite all my efforts to find proof that this airline (PNG Air, to be exact) flies into WAJJ, I couldn't find any - even from the airline site's official schedule page - proof (or even a hint) that this is the case. I've also inquired local pilots that fly out of WAJJ on a daily basis, and they too confirm that there aren't any flights regularly scheduled between Sentani and anywhere in PNG. I'll be keeping a close eye on further edits and will remove incorrect entries if detected.

Moving the page

I've searched that according to many local media, this airport has already changed it's name and a bill about it's name change already passed by local parliament and has been taking effect legally here. Should we move the page now? Nyanardsan (talk) 00:41, 27 February 2021 (UTC)

Please stop changing the airport name and/or removing informations and mentions regarding the name change proposals both on enwiki and idwiki.

The name change being official and approved is referenced while the claim you mentioned on your last edit summary was not. Also, even if the name change is not official, the mention of the proposal itself has enough coverage to warrants its own section or mentions within the article and should not be removed.

If you keep reverting it without providing any reliable source or keep removing the section/mention regarding the change name, we might need to take this to dispute resolution. Nyanardsan (talk) 12:31, 5 July 2022 (UTC)
