German censorship

edit

Apparently Germany censored the Nuke and the Fanatic. Making the Nuke green, and the Fanatic an "Explosives Expert." However, I can't find any screenshots or proof.--SexyKick 00:38, 28 October 2010 (UTC)Reply

Here is an Article from 2007 by the German website "Schnittberichte" (lit. "Cut Reports") that details the changes together with screenshots and so on:

Country Setting

edit

Hi, I added this page to all of the "Category:Video games set in [country x]" that this game applies to. I based this off all of the locations where missions of the game take place in, which I think is fair, excluding expansion packs, for all campaign modes. If you have questions/concerns, please discuss or message me. Gaijin Ninja (talk) 19:49, 29 March 2011 (UTC)Reply

Links affixed in 2007 are no longer valid. Sources to publications in text are missing as well. (Sorry for my not so good English.) Gleb95 (talk) 15:16, 12 October 2016 (UTC)Reply

Campaign difficulty settings

edit

A thing that is unmentioned in the article is that nowadays, due to later patches to the game that fundamentally change the economy without adjusting the story campaign to those changes, the campaign mode is near-unbeatable anymore for players purchasing a copy of the game via platforms such as Steam. For example the amount of ressources a player gathers per second after patch 1.9 was halved compared to the original state of the game. There are means by which to restore the original state of the game via modding. 2A02:1210:1CA7:D700:ED23:F4E2:5599:DABB (talk) 00:24, 4 January 2024 (UTC)Reply
