I want to add an image of the designer from the most recent Vogue Article : azede-jean-pierre-powered-by-gucci

I want to add citations to the page for accuracy. RainRiverWater (talk) 11:10, 1 July 2026 (UTC)Reply

Not done: it's not clear what changes you want made. Please detail the specific changes in a "change X to Y" format and provide a reliable source if appropriate. Whyiseverythingalreadyused (t · c · he/him) 11:48, 1 July 2026 (UTC)Reply
@Whyiseverythingalreadyused while boilerplates are good, it is not enough here (nor... particularly informative). You are going to make new editors feeling more frustrated when they come back with another request that is going to fail because the additional requirements for using such images aren't covered.

I don't believe that I have an obligation to be nice to undisclosed paid editors, especially after they create obvious sockpuppets... actual newbies are a different question Whyiseverythingalreadyused (t · c · he/him) 13:02, 1 July 2026 (UTC)Reply
This is a clear example of bulling. Please stop. I didn't do anything to deserve this. RainRiverWater (talk) 13:10, 1 July 2026 (UTC)Reply
Well... I am of the point of view that if editors can't understand/follow after laying it out... WP:CIR? – robertsky (talk) 13:18, 1 July 2026 (UTC)Reply
No this was bulling. Not anything about competence. This was a gang-up job for adding citations. You deleted and reverted information on a page that was already properly cited and called another editor to block someone for putting up citations and then @Whyiseverythingalreadyused even resorted to name calling. RainRiverWater (talk) 13:23, 1 July 2026 (UTC)Reply
The image already had copyright info on it? RainRiverWater (talk) 13:09, 1 July 2026 (UTC)Reply
The images used here should be free of copyright. – robertsky (talk) 13:11, 1 July 2026 (UTC)Reply

Request 1: lead paragraph, remove unsupported language

Edit request: lead paragraph wording

edit

Continuing from my disclosure on User talk:RainRiverWater.

Please change: "Azède Jean-Pierre is an American fashion designer known for her innovative designs and contributions to the fashion industry. She is the founder of the Azède Jean-Pierre label, which has garnered international acclaim and has been showcased at prestigious fashion weeks in New York and Paris."

To: "Azède Jean-Pierre is an American fashion designer. She is the founder of the Azède Jean-Pierre label, which has been shown at New York Fashion Week and Paris Fashion Week.[1]"

Reason: "known for her innovative designs," "garnered international acclaim," and "prestigious" aren't supported by the cited source, per WP:PEACOCK. The factual claim about the two fashion weeks is kept and cited. RainRiverWater (talk) 17:22, 1 July 2026 (UTC) RainRiverWater (talk) 17:22, 1 July 2026 (UTC)Reply

Edit request: add AJP Consulting founding to lead

edit

Continuing from my disclosure on User talk:RainRiverWater.

Please add to the lead paragraph: "She is also the founder of AJP Consulting, a design and product studio.[2]"

Note on sourcing: this cites the subject's own website per WP:ABOUTSELF, for a simple, uncontroversial factual claim (that the company exists and who founded it). Happy to use a different source if editors prefer one. RainRiverWater (talk) 17:24, 1 July 2026 (UTC) RainRiverWater (talk) 17:24, 1 July 2026 (UTC)Reply
