By treating his mother's record collection as an ordinary biographical detail, this Wikipedia mainstream text completely misses the fact that Bambaataa was the first cross-continental human bridge to physically lock the European electronic avant-garde directly into the North American, Jamaican sound system lineage. Those two styles emerged at the same time in parallel. Bambaataa recognized their similarity. Both Dub and Kraftwerk utilize a subtractive process to create new. The intentional gaps created and specific sounds in both styles allow for the human nervous system to regulate with minimal constraint. ~2026-32290-90 (talk) 12:46, 31 May 2026 (UTC)Reply
