League table

I have heard that where there is a complete tie the league table (same for Championship, League 1 & League 2) is then being decided on disciplinary rather than alphabetical order but haven't seen any confirmation other than the current table the SPFL have on their website along with media organisations? Nope. The rules for this season make no mention of disciplinary action being a tiebreaker. See rule C36. Effectively, Kilmarnock, Livingston, Dundee United and Falkirk are all equally ranked so it really doesn't matter which order they are written. Is there a reason Motherwell are ranked above Kilmarnock? The two are level on all tiebreakers so they'd usually be listed alphabetically. When they aren't, it makes me wonder if I've missed something. Stevie fae Scotland (talk) 11:43, 31 August 2025 (UTC)Reply
