Shirley Netherway married name Shirley Parker (19 May 1937 – 6 March 2016) was a British fencer.

Biography

She competed at the 1960 and 1964 Summer Olympics.[1]

After she married in 1965 she competed as Shirley Parker.[2] Parker represented the England team[3] at the 1966 British Empire and Commonwealth Games in Kingston, Jamaica, where she participated in the foil events.[4] She won a gold medal in the team foil with Joyce Pearce and Janet Wardell-Yerburgh, in addition to winning a silver medal in the individual event.[5]
