Prince Gaston of Orléans, Count of Clermont, Dauphin of France (Gaston Louis Antoine Marie; born 19 November 2009) is a member of the House of Orléans as the eldest son of Jean, Count of Paris and Philomena, Countess of Paris. Gaston is heir to the Orléanist claim to the defunct French throne as the titular Dauphin of France.[1]

Early life and family
editOrléanist heir
editOn 21 January 2019, Henri, Count of Paris died, and Gaston's father succeeded him as Orléanist pretender to the defunct French throne.[2]
Engagements
editHe made his first official engagement as the Orléanist heir by attending with his parents, on May 2, 2019, at the Château d'Amboise, the meeting between French President Emmanuel Macron, and President of Italy Sergio Mattarella.[3]
Gaston accompanied his father at the Reopening of Notre-Dame de Paris in 2024.[4]
