The Jinnah-class frigate is a class of multi-role frigates under construction for the Pakistan Navy. The Jinnah class is Pakistan's first indigenously designed and built frigate.[1][2] A contract for the construction of the frigates was signed on 3 November 2025 with the Karachi Shipyard & Engineering Works (KSEW), with the first warships expected to join the navy's fleet by 2028.[3][4] The Jinnah class is named after the founder of Pakistan, Muhammad Ali Jinnah.
