Mattanur Assembly constituency
Mattanur Assembly constituency is one of the 140 state legislative assembly constituencies in Kerala, India. It is one of the seven assembly segments that constitute the Kannur Lok Sabha constituency. As of 2026 Kerala Assembly elections, the current MLA is V.K. Sanoj of the Communist Party of India (Marxist).

Mattanur was reestablished by the 2008 delimitation, by incorporating major parts Of previous Kuthuparamba seat. It recorded the largest ever victory margin (60,963)[1] in the history of Kerala Legislative Assembly elections in the 2021 Kerala Legislative Assembly election, achieved by K. K. Shailaja which was later surpassed by IUML's P. K. Kunhalikutty's victory margin (85,327) in the 2026 Kerala Legislative Assembly election.[2]
