Description
English: Coat of arms used to represent the 19 cantons of the Swiss Confederation during the Mediation period (1803-1814). There was no official "Swiss" coat of arms during this time, as the cantons were considered fully sovereign and each used their own coat of arms, but some cantons would mint coins representing the Confederation with a coat of arms such as the one shown here.
