English: Union Methodist Episcopal Church, now known as Building XX, is located at 814 20th Street NW in Washington, D.C. It was constructed in 1848 and expanded in 1910. During the Civil War the church served as a hospital for Union soldiers. It is a contributing property to the George Washington University/Old West End Historic District. The building served as a place of worship until 1975 and currently houses office space for George Washington University's Columbian College of Arts and Sciences. |
