This image is used on Wikipedia, in the article Smash!, in accordance with fair use policy. It is believed to meet our policy since it represents, depicts, illustrates and imparts information regarding an important feature of the comic strip magazine in question, namely the front cover. The comic magazine itself, and in particular the cover, is critically discussed within the article, the image allows the reader to understand the nature of the comic and of the cover in question; as the issue used is typical of the comic's presentation, it allows the reader to understand the iconography of the comic, its design, its use of colour, and the nature of its characters and purpose. The image itself is of low quality and it is not believed that reproductions of it would harm the copyright holder's ability to commercially exploit its rights.
It was published in the United Kingdom by Odhams Press Ltd in 1967: the Publisher's copyright expired in the United Kingdom in 1992, 25 years after publication. No artist is acknowledged in the edition.
