Summary

Description
English: A sketch of Temple Tower, an unrealized skyscraper in Cincinnati, Ohio. Proposed by Cincinnati's First Presbyterian Church (later merged into Covenant First Presbyterian Church) in 1929, it would have combined a new church facility with office and retail space. It was designed by architectural firm Samuel Hannaford & Sons, who mixed the Art Deco and Gothic styles in their plan for the 40-story tower. The Great Depression began shortly after its announcement, and it was never built. This sketch was published in The Cincinnati Enquirer on December 29, 1929.
