Description
English: An unusual four-armed sculpture of a hybrid icon of Paraśurāma and Rāma two incarnations (avatāra) of Viṣṇu in one icon from the carved wall of Rani ki vav, holding in his four hands arrow (iṣu), an axe (paraśu), a vessel or pot (kalaśa) and a bow (dhanu). The central sculpture is flanked by women sculptures.
In 9 smal niches the other 9 āvatāra of the Daśāvatāra of Viṣṇu, including (perhaps) Buddha.
Español: Relieve inusual de Parashurama con cuatro brazos en la pared tallada del pozo escalonado (baori) de Rani ki vav, sosteniendo en sus cuatro manos una flecha, un hacha, una vasija y un arco flojo. El baori esta situado en la ciudad de Patan en Guyarat, India.
Українська: Це незвичайна чотирирука скульптура Парашурами з різьбленої стіни криниці Рані-кі-вав, що тримає в чотирьох руках стрілу, меч, щит і лук, місто Патан у штаті Гуджарат, Індія. Центральну скульптуру Парашурами оточують жіночі скульптури.
