Animation depicting the precession and nutation of the Earth's equatorial North Pole. The nutation of the true pole forms an elliptical path around the mean pole. The equatorial coordinates in epoch J2000.0 were used for the reference frame. Algorithms for calculating precession and nutation were from Astronomical Algorithms, by Jean Meeus. Animation was made using the Manim library.
