Summary

Description
English: Fa'inna ma'al Asur Yasuran (So Verily).
The poem was written in response to an acrostic based on the Qur'anic verse "So verily, with every difficulty there is relief" (Surah 94:5), composed by Muhammad Bello during a threat to Sokoto by Gobir and Tuareg forces. Bello had written it for Asma'u before marching to meet the approaching army.[1] She completed her reply likely hours before the battle ended. It is the first indication of literary collaboration between the two siblings.[2]
